Srisaila College of Education in Harihar, Karnataka, offers a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program and a two-year Master of Education (M.Ed.) program. The college is affiliated to Kuvempu University and aims to make education a defining element of national development.
Srishaila Peetha, one of the Panchapeethas, was established in 1970 at Harihar Nagar. Shri J.P.V. Vidyapeeth has made its mark in the field of education for the last 54 years, and currently, the institution has many affiliates like NEET, IIT Engineering, B.Sc., Nursing, B.Sc., Agri. On the many requests of students and parents seeking admission, the present Jagadguru is active on the management board and in the famous PUs in different parts of Karnataka. Srishaila Hi-Tech P.U. is another subsidiary employing the services of lecturers with many years of experience in colleges. The college started in 1970.
