Sri Viswaradhya B.Ed College

Sri Vishwaradhya B.Ed College was established in the year 2008 with an aim to achieve high ideals for future teachers. B.Ed course is a two year Graduate Programme, is affiliated to Raichur University and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE); recognized by Government of India.

It is one of the Institution run by Sri Vishwaradhya Vidhya Vardhak Samsthe, Abbetumkur Tq:Dist: Yadgir -585202. This management is making lasting contribution in the field of professional education in order to inculcate the values in teachers in the present day set up. Our management is committed to society at large. The commitment of our management in promoting excellence in teacher education is reflected through its well-equipped infrastructure such as wel furnished class rooms, multi-purpose hall and provisions for both indoor and outdoor games for all round development of future teachers.

The college has two demonstration schools under the same management and has good linkage with other high schools near the college to conduct practice in teaching. The performance of the students in the college has been consistently good in the last academic years with 100%. The faculty of the B.Ed . College consists of 1 principal and 7 lecturers.

The Sri Vishwaradhya B.Ed College is far sighted and provides a stimulating environment to learn. Our aim is to develop, “Best teachers through Teacher’sTraining Institution by the best and efficient teaching faculties” and serve the State and Nation by producing the Best Student Community. The college is formed by Indian Values and Culture with Mutual Respect, Integrity and Teamwork.

Sri Vishwaradhya B.Ed College will exclusively collaborate with Centre for Education beyond Curriculum and Centre for social Action. The Centre takes initiative to expose students to undergo rural exposure experience.

The trainees of Sri Vishwaradhya B.Ed College have actively participated in overnight camps in villages and slums and involved in personal interactions with families, village leaders on social economic and health issues and perform various cultural programmes carrying social messages.
